In 2020, Coach Justin Bisson had a vision to start a scholarship that would celebrate and showcase a “Legacy Player” from 25 years prior, and ask the team from 25 years prior to help fund a scholarship for at least one lucky Blue Devil senior. In the past 6 years, we have been able to raise over $8000 to hand out in scholarships to at least one deserving Blue Devil Senior. The scholarship criteria is based on the traits of the Legacy Player from 25 years ago. The current Blue Devil Senior who most closely embodies these traits, is named the Blue Devil Legacy Award Winner, and all money raised in that current year is awarded in a scholarship to the winner to continue their education at a 4 year, 2 year, or trade school.
